Description

The Petzl Tibloc is a lightweight alternative to the prussic knot or mechanical ascender. It is much more efficient and easier to use than a prussic knot so for many circumstances is a better option. It can also be combined with a pulley to build a full rescue or self-rescue setup. They are a favourite of alpine climbers and mountaineers for there ease of use and for how well the grab on frozen or wet ropes.
