Lisa created Ultralight hiker as a way to share her love for the outdoors with others and for the first 4 years did everything herself. As she grew and the work load grew each day she decided that it was best to exit for personal wellbeing. 

That's where we come in, Ryan and Myself (Jarrod) are both passionate 20-year-olds who have turned our love for hiking into a mission to revolutionise the Australian hiking scene. As avid hikers ourselves, we’ve experienced firsthand the transformative power of ultralight gear.

We understand the love hate relationship hikers have with their gear and the freedom that comes from shedding unnecessary weight. As life has gotten busier, we’ve found it challenging to get out and explore the great outdoors as often as we’d like. This is why we’ve decided to pour our energy and enthusiasm into this business.
