From a functional point of view there are no issues with this device. However, there are dozens of reputable power banks with similar features and quality. But it fails the travel weight component for my requirements. At 357g it seems light, but once you have it in your hand and compare it with other travel items, it is no different than other devices that I avoid because they are too heavy. The 7kg carry on these days is a real killer and you have to very careful with equipment selection. I have been travelling and EDC'ing the Nitecore NB10000 for a few years now and it's perfect for travel and convenient to carry around. I can only say I got greedy looking for a longer term power option and missed the point of ultralight travel with this device. So the 10000 is back in and the 20000 is available around the house when I need it from time to time.

Power bank

I bought this for the Larapinta trail in August, it has great reviews for being suitable for a hike of this length. It’s nice and compact fairly lightweight although not as light as it’s described at 252g the device and charging cord weigh around 350g on my scale. Still a nice little power bank though
