Handy little pocket, I used it to stow my binoculars in the zip up pouch and my glasses in the elastic pocket on a recent four day walk. Worked how I wanted it to by making both items easy to get to when needed.
I don't like putting anything in my trouser pockets when hiking distance. I don't want to feel any real weight wobbling around on my legs when doing the hard miles. So used this pouch for my phone and glasses on a 3 day hike in Tasmania. It was invaluable for quick access to my phone and glasses - never missed a snap! Didn't have to reach back, or take my pack off - where you might have these things towed. This pouch is light, tough (feels like it will last forever), and easily attaches securely to your shoulder strap.
