NEW 2021 Version - 2 Person Ultralight Tent

What's NEW with the 2021 Version?

It's higher, you can now pitch the tent another 5cm higher making it easier to sit up inside the tent. The inner mesh has gone from 15d to 20d breathable nylon mesh.

The 3f UL Lanshan 2 flysheet is made of 15D Nylon with a hydrostatic head rating of 4000mm (Waterproof index). The 20D Nylon groundsheet ups the waterproofing level to an impressive 8000mm. The pegs are aluminium - this is not a freestanding tent and trekking poles are required.

When pitched, the bathtub floor dimensions are 220cm long x 110cm wide. There is 120 -125 cm of head height available depending on how high you set your trekking poles. The ample height allows you to sit up comfortably in the middle of the tent.

The weight of the 3F UL Lanshan 2 is 1060g and the trail weight is 1216g including the stakes & sack, guy lines and the tent's compression sack.

Great tent even for two people. Plenty of room to sit up especially if your tall. Easy as to put up and take down. The pegs however are not to crash hot would recommend replacing them with something more sturdy for Aussie ground! Otherwise 10/10! A big thanks to Ultralighthiker for the fast awesome service.

So far so good

Purchased the lanshan because I want a Zpacks duplex but have only ever used a freestanding tent so thought this would be a cheap option to give it a go without spending nearly $1000. Just did 4 nights on the bibbulmun track with the lanshan and so far so good. It’s perfect size for me and my pack. I wouldn’t be too comfortable with 2 people I reckon. I seam sealed it before I left which was my first ever attempt and had light to moderate rain each night and no leaks. Experienced very little condensation which was great. I found it very easy to set it up first time (after watching a couple YouTube videos).
Overall I would recommend this tent to anyone wanting a relative lightweight tracking pole tent at a reasonable price.

Thanks ultralighthiker for stocking this product, it was great to be able to order it from Australia rather than a Chinese site. You have some great products and I will be sure to check this site for any gear I need in the future.

Outstanding Tent

Surprised by size and features for the weight. Doesn't come with poles, but other than that, very happy with quality.

Excellent tent. Perfect for hiking

This tent is much bigger than anticipated. Easy to assemble. Super lightweight as stated. Going to be perfect for 9 nights in a bush setting
