Ombraz don't fall off during regular use, however, if you're paddling around in the surf, diving off a cliff, or dropping past a keeper hole on the river, (god forbid), your Ombraz could potentially slip off. The floatie wraps around the cord and locks back to itself, ensuring your Ombraz pop back up to the surface. Now, let's just hope you do too.
