Took these on the Milford Track, they were great. They fit a 1L Nalgene + room for gloves/snacks/sunglasses etc.
Great spork, long handle good for cooking and eating. Not as sharp as others which is good!
Haven't tested it yet however the size and weight have made a considerable difference in my backpack.
Aside from that ... Love the piggy pack possibility to charge the bank while charging something else.
I have used a Platypus Hoser 3l bladder for dozens of extended remote area bushwalking trips and rogaining over the last 10 years. Unfortunately I burst it recently in a major fall which also ripped my pack in half and fractured several vertebrae. The platypus seams held up, its body was simply punctured by a rock I smashed into. I had no hesitation whatsoever in buying the same thing again as the replacement. Best features are the durability, (earlier bladders have abraded away at edges, corners), the standard lemonade bottle top, and the lack of complex and fragile sliding or bayonet closures. I have not found it to be slower to fill than those of my colleagues with bigger apertures, and not needed any greater access to clean it. Only gripe is that it is made in USA.
