Platypus Hoser Ultralight Reservoir

I was using a different company’s bladder that was a lot more expensive but the water always had a terrible taste of plastic. I tried washing it numerous ways to no avail. The people at ultralighthiker recommended this Platypus bladder and there’s no nasty plastic taste. I was very happy with it on my recent hike, so happy I’m going to get one for my husband now too. Highly recommended.

When you buy your first tool, buy cheap. If you use it, when it breaks, buy for quality. I took a generic cheapie and on the second walk, the seal burst. Time to buy a good one.
