Very light and feels decently sturdy. Only annoyance is there's a tag with the Ultralight Hiker logo on its side which was not shown in the photos. Scared to rip it off as don't know how durable the material is or how it's stitched on.
I ceased using a leather wallet several years ago and adopted a zipped nylon pouch as my primary means of carrying money and cards. That served me very well but it had reached the end of serviceable life so I opted for the Dyneema wallet from Ultralight Hiker. The aim of buying a wallet made from Dyneema is not primarily to save weight. Rather, I want to test the durability of a Dyneema item in constant use over an extended period. It is early days yet so time will tell. I was very pleased with the rapid fulfillment and delivery of my order and very satisfied with the quality of construction. Thank you Lisa.
This item came with additional reflective sections on the black side tabs. These were not pictured when I purchased and initially I was happy about the additional feature, but the finish has quickly worn down, looks sloppy and is no longer reflective. That being said it’s a nice wallet and has remained waterproof over the past few weeks of owning it. Please either remove the reflective finish or make it more hard wearing. Thanks!
The money wallet is fast becoming a favourite of mine. I actually didn't even want to convert back to my normal wallet after my hike :P
Handy little wallet to stash in your pack
